The
Haddam-Killingworth Recreation Department's goal is to provide a comprehensive
year-round recreational program which meets the needs of the individuals
in the community. The department strives to provide positive recreational
experiences which contribute to the individual's physical, social, emotional,
creative, cultural, and educational growth and development in order
to enrich the quality of life.

for Fall Programs
How
to Register:
If
a program has a mailbox icon next to it, please mail in the
registration form at anytime. All programs are on a first come,
first served basis. The HK Recreation Department does not confirm
mail-in registrations. If you do not hear from us, please assume
that you are registered. Please make checks payable to the HK
Recreation Department.
All programs are accepted by mail at anytime except for
Swim lessons. We suggest
you register at our Swim Lesson Registration (residents only)
on Wednesday, September 10th from
7:00 - 8:00 pm at Burr Elementary School or Thursday, September
11th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the HK Recreation Office.
If
you cannot go to In-Person for swim lessons, mail-ins will be
accepted after September 11th. Non-residents may register for
swim lessons after September 11th.
All
other program will be accepted by mail at anytime!

Fees
/ Refund Policy
When
Fees are charged, fees are due at the time of registration or prior
to the start of the program. Refunds will be given if requested 72 hours
prior to the start of class, or other designated activities, unless
otherwise stated at program registration. However, there will be no
refunds on excursion two weeks prior to the trip.There will be a $2
service fee unless the program has been cancelled by the Recreation
Department or the particicipant on a wait list was not accepted into
a program. Once an activity has begun, there will be no refunds except
in the case of illness, injury or relocation. Refunds will then be given
on a pro-rated basis. Refunds will be given if a program is cancelled
due to insufficient enrollment.

to join any program we sponsor at a reduced rate or free of charge.
